The IEEE Italy Section actively participated in SPS Italia, the leading trade fair for smart, digital, and sustainable industry. The event provided an excellent platform to strengthen collaboration between academia, industry, and technology professionals while promoting IEEE’s mission and activities within the automation and industrial innovation ecosystem.
During the fair, the IEEE Italy Section delivered two technical seminars addressing emerging trends and advanced technologies in industrial automation and smart systems. The seminars attracted strong interest from engineers, researchers, and industry professionals, fostering engaging discussions and knowledge exchange on cutting-edge developments.
In addition to the technical program, the Section organized a membership outreach initiative aimed at increasing awareness of IEEE benefits and engaging new professionals, students, and industry representatives. Dedicated representatives provided information about IEEE societies, technical communities, professional development resources, and networking opportunities. The initiative successfully strengthened connections with prospective members and reinforced IEEE’s presence within the Italian industrial landscape.
