Beyond Balance: Creating Meaningful Careers and Lives
As part of the Women's Day celebrations, the IEEE Student Branch of SASTRA Deemed University presents a special talk titled “Beyond Balance: Creating Meaningful Careers and Lives.” This session invites students and young professionals to rethink the idea of work–life balance and explore how purposeful choices, personal values, and professional aspirations can come together to shape fulfilling careers and meaningful lives.
The session will be delivered by Prof. Harivardhagini Subhadra, Head of the Department of Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering at CVR College of Engineering. She also serves as the Events Coordinator for the IEEE PES Women in Power Chair – Chapters Committee, IEEE SSIT Professional Activities Coordinator, and a member of the IEEE Smart Cities Communications Ad Hoc Committee. Drawing from her academic leadership and professional experience, she will share insights on navigating career paths, overcoming challenges, and building a life of impact and purpose.
The talk aims to inspire participants to pursue excellence with confidence, resilience, and clarity while shaping careers that are both successful and meaningful.
