An international delegation of MTT-S and AP-S officers, including the current president of the MTT-S, Prof Anding Zhu, is visiting Stellenbosch, South Africa, on March 24, for a networking event, as well as a technical seminar. You are invited to attend either one or both.

Lunch & Learn Networking Event

Technical Seminar

  • 15:00 – 17:00, Mar 24
  • Venue: Room E3076, Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Stellenbosch University
  • Register for the seminar by following the registration link associated with this whole IEEE event
  • If you come from outside Stellenbosch University, then please be at the latest 14:50, at the northern entrance ground floor foyer of the engineering complex, here: https://maps.app.goo.gl/r1reerPE4jV4Euxc8 
  • A student will hold up a sign "IEEE Seminar", and at 14:50 will guide you to the meeting room. 
  • Parking information will be sent to all those who have registered by the morning of March 23.

  • Wireless Power Transfer (WPT) - Energy on Demand from Satellite to UAV WPT Links by Nuno Carvalho (past MTT-S president, IEEE Fellow)
  • Compressive Antenna Arrays by Heinrich Laue (University of Pretoria, SA IEEE AP/MTT/EMC Joint Chapter officer)
