Student Research Forum - #1 Sustainable Development of the Electric Power Industry
The Student Research Forum project organized by IEEE Young Professionals CS AG was launched, with the aim of showing students that IEEE is not just a well-known organization, but also a space for sharing their own research and developing the ability to explain complex topics in a clear way. The first meeting was held on March 10 at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, UWB in Pilsen, as part of a series of four planned sessions on the first topic of sustainable development of the electric power industry, where ways to get involved in IEEE and in research projects were introduced. The presentations were intended not only for active researchers, but also for new students, who were given insight into how research works and how they can get involved; work in areas such as insulating materials, autonomous systems, renewable energy, and the recycling of oils and resins was presented.
