It gives us immense pleasure to invite you to the 50th Anniversary Celebration of the IEEE Bangalore Section.
This milestone marks five decades of excellence and dedicated volunteer service in advancing technology for humanity. From a modest beginning in the May of 1976, IEEE Bangalore Section - serving the state of Karnataka - has grown into one of the most admired IEEE communities globally, and on December 31, 2025, became the largest IEEE Section in the world.
Over the years, IEEE Bangalore Section has:
- Built a thriving ecosystem of professionals, researchers, and students across Karnataka
- Enabled high-impact conferences and technical programs that shape research and industry
- Fostered strong academia-industry collaboration and global engagement
- Contributed to technology leadership and knowledge dissemination
- Advanced inclusive initiatives to strengthen technical communities across Karnataka
