Checkmate Challenge, organized by IEEE JSSATEN SB in collaboration with IEEE JSSUN SB, IEEE WIE JSSATEN, and IEEE WIE JSSUN, will be conducted this April as part of Zealicon 2026. The event is designed to test participants’ strategic thinking, precision, and decision-making under pressure through competitive rounds of chess.

Open to students from all departments, the competition provides a platform to showcase analytical skills, focus, and competitive spirit. Participants will engage in intense one-on-one matches, where every move demands careful planning, adaptability, and tactical execution.

Checkmate is more than just a game it is a battle of minds that fosters critical thinking, patience, and intellectual growth while delivering an engaging and competitive experience for all participants.
