The IEEE Power & Energy Society (PES) Student Branch Chapter of MBU successfully conducted its General Body Meeting on 23rd March 2026 at Mohan Babu University.
The meeting brought together enthusiastic members, faculty coordinators, and student representatives to discuss the vision, mission, and upcoming activities of the IEEE PES chapter. Key highlights of the session included:
Introduction to IEEE PES and its global impact in the power and energy sector
Discussion on upcoming technical events, workshops, and competitions
Planning and brainstorming of innovative project ideas related to sustainable energy and smart grid technologies
Encouraging student participation in IEEE activities and leadership roles
