IEEE Carnival 2026 — IEEE SBNU & Societies | 3 Days | 11 Events | ₹28,000+ Prize Pool


IEEE Student Branch Nirma University (SBNU) organizedIEEE Carnival 2026, a three-day technical event aimed at fostering innovation, technical learning, and interdisciplinary collaboration among students.

The event was conducted from 3rd to 5th April 2026 at the Institute of Technology, Nirma University, Ahmedabad.

IEEE Carnival 2026 features a diverse lineup of 10 events, including expert lectures, hands-on workshops, and technical competitions spanning domains such as Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Embedded Systems, Cloud Computing, and Intelligent Transportation Systems.

Key highlights include:

  • Expert sessions delivered by distinguished IEEE professionals and industry experts
  • Hands-on workshops focused on practical implementation and emerging technologies
  • Technical competitions with a cumulative prize pool exceeding ₹20,000
  • Participation from multiple IEEE societies including IEEE SPS, IEEE CS, IEEE ITSS, IEEE SIGHT, and IEEE WIE

Dr. Maryam Kaveshgar

Biography:

Dr. Maryam Kaveshgar is the Global Vice President of the IEEE Intelligent Transportation Systems Society (ITSS) and a distinguished expert in robotics, driverless cars, and active safety. With a Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering, her groundbreaking research bridges the gap between advanced navigation technology and real-world human behavior. From modeling complex autonomous systems to analyzing the very traffic flow, Dr. Kaveshgar is a leading voice shaping the future of global intelligent infrastructure

Dr. Ajay Vyas

Biography:

Dr. Ajay Kumar Vyas is an associate professor and head of the ICT Department at Adani University. Currently serving as the chair of humanitarian technology activities for the IEEE Gujarat Section, he is a senior member of IEEE and a fellow of IETE. With a Ph.D. in Electronics and Communication Engineering, Dr. Vyas has authored 50+ research papers and 10 books. He also serves as an editor for prestigious journals like Springer Nature, focusing on photonics and emerging technologies.


Paramveer Singh

Biography:

Paramveer Singh is from Cyber Dojo Team. CyberDojo leads in cybersecurity education, forming strategic partnerships with top Indian universities. Their training programs seamlessly blend academic rigor with hands-on labs, continually updated by our technical team to align with industry trends. They offer next-gen simulation labs in Red, Blue, and Purple Teaming scenarios.

Going beyond, they enhance students' employability through internships, industry exposure, and project support. Mentorship from industry experts via their parent company's alliance ensures a practical approach to education. This comprehensive strategy ensures Cyber Dojo graduates are not just knowledgeable but well-prepared for the dynamic cybersecurity landscape.
