Dear IEEE Richmond Section Members,

We are excited to invite you and your family to our 2026 IEEE Richmond Section Family Picnic & Social Gathering, one of our major in-person events designed to bring our members together in a relaxed and friendly environment along with amazing dinner and build lasting connections

📅 Date: Sunday, June 14th, 2026
🕔 Time: 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM (EST)
📍 Venue: Deep Run Recreation Center - 9910 Ridgefield Parkway Henrico, VA 23233
💲 Registration Fee: $5 per IEEE Member which covers the entire family
🗓️ Registration Deadline: Please register by June 5, 2026. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis, and will close automatically once we reach the capacity of the venue. This ensures we can plan food and logistics efficiently for everyone attending

This event will be a wonderful opportunity to:

Connect with fellow IEEE members and their families in the Richmond area
Enjoy outdoor fun for children at the DeepRun Park play area
Participate in brief, informative sessions about IEEE Richmond Section initiatives — all held in the Recreation Room (detailed Session and Agenda information will be shared in a follow-up email).
Share dinner and build lasting connections
