International Women's Day Afternoon Tea
The UTS IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society (EMBS) Student Chapter is proud to celebrate International Women’s Day through a collaborative event with the IEEE EMBS NSW Section and UTS Women in Engineering and IT.
This special event will feature a guest talk by Michelle Su from ResMed, who will share her personal and professional journey as a woman in STEM. From her academic background in biomedical engineering and science to her transition into industry, Michelle will offer valuable insights into navigating a career in this evolving field.
Attendees will have the opportunity to engage with peers, gain inspiration, and build connections across disciplines and organisations. A light afternoon tea will be provided following the talk.
We welcome all students and professionals interested in celebrating and supporting women in engineering, medicine, and biology.
