Engineering Bootcamp for High School Girls
This initiative aims to inspire young students to explore the wide range of opportunities within STEM and to encourage them to pursue future studies and careers in engineering fields.
The bootcamp will take place over three immersive days on campus, bringing together more than 200 participants in a dynamic and engaging learning environment. Through a carefully designed program, students will be introduced to various engineering disciplines via hands-on activities, interactive sessions, and guided discussions with faculty members and university students.
Participants will have the opportunity to explore multiple engineering domains, including:
- Sustainable engineering, highlighting the integration of civil, chemical, and materials engineering in solving environmental challenges
- Artificial intelligence, coding, and robotics, showcasing the impact of technology in modern innovation
- Mechanical engineering applications, including biomechanics, renewable energy systems, and system design
The bootcamp will also include campus tours, lab visits, and makerspace experiences, allowing students to directly engage with the tools and environments used by engineers. These experiences will emphasize the interdisciplinary nature of engineering and its critical role in shaping the modern world.
