- Practical hands-on session: 02:00 pm - 05:00 pm
Participants must attend both sessions. The event is organized by the IEEE Computer Society Student Branch Chapter in collaboration with the High Dimensional Signal Processing Research Group.

Fundamentals of Deep Learning
“Fundamentals of Deep Learning: From Neural Networks to Large Language Models, Theory and Practice” aims to provide undergraduate students at the Universidad Industrial de Santander with a solid understanding of the fundamental concepts of artificial intelligence, offering a detailed mathematical description of these models, the basic algorithms that govern them, and relevant applications. In this way, the talk helps strengthen students’ skills in artificial intelligence while fostering an interest in research and the development of solutions based on these tools.
