Hacking Hills, a 24-hour inter-college hackathon, was successfully organized as the flagship event of Innovate to Excel – 2nd Edition, the annual technical fest of JUIT Solan. The hackathon brought together innovators, developers, designers, and technology enthusiasts from across Jaypee Institutes and other participating colleges.
Day 1 – Ideation & Development Phase
- Teams brainstormed and finalized problem statements
- Roles and responsibilities were allocated
- Prototype development was initiated
- Faculty mentors provided continuous technical guidance
Key activities included:
- Backend and frontend development
- API integration and system connectivity
- Debugging and performance optimization
- User interface and experience refinement
Day 2 – Final Demonstrations & Evaluation
- Problem statement and relevance
- Technical architecture and tools used
- Live demonstration of the working prototype
- Scalability and real-world impact
- Future scope and enhancements
