Blockchain Basics & Build Your First Network with Python
The IEEE IAS/IES/PES ESPRIT SB Joint Chapter, in collaboration with the IEEE Computer Society ESPRIT Student Branch Chapter and in partnership with BitStack, is organizing a technical workshop entitled “Blockchain Basics & Build Your First Network with Python”, scheduled for April 9,11 & 12, 2026.
BitStack, a training-oriented organization specializing in blockchain education and hands-on learning experiences, will contribute to delivering practical insights into blockchain technologies, including their underlying algorithms, protocols, and real-world applications.
This workshop aims to introduce participants to the fundamental principles of blockchain and guide them through the process of building a basic blockchain network using Python. The session will combine theoretical concepts with practical demonstrations, covering blockchain structure, logic, and validation mechanisms, as well as applications in industry, IoT systems, and smart energy networks.
The event will be conducted through a 6-hour in-person session, followed by two additional remote sessions to further explore advanced topics such as transactions, networking, and full blockchain implementation.
