The IEEE IES East Africa Industrial Innovation Summit 2026 will be happening from 28–30 April 2026 in Nairobi, Kenya, under the theme “Collaboration for Africa’s Sustainable Future.”

This three-day continental flagship event brings together 250–300 participants from across Africa, including industry leaders, policymakers, researchers, startups, and academia, to drive conversations and solutions around Africa’s industrial transformation.

The Summit will explore key areas such as Industry 4.0 & 5.0, renewable energy and smart grids, AI & IoT, industrial automation, e-mobility, sustainable infrastructure, and healthcare systems, all aimed at advancing innovation and sustainable development across the continent.
