The IEEE Evansville–Owensboro Section invites members, students, and guests to attend our upcoming Post-SoutheastCon Hardware Presentation and Student Showcase, to be hosted at the University of Southern Indiana (USI).

We are pleased to share that our recent March technical presentation at Murray State University was a great success. With approximately 36 attendees, the event featured an engaging and insightful presentation by Dr. Robert N. Dean, whose talk and discussion on graduate school opportunities were well received. We appreciate his time and contribution to our section.

This next event is designed to bring together students and representatives from across our section, providing a platform for collaboration, knowledge sharing, and showcasing innovative work following SoutheastCon.

Expected Participating Campuses:

  • University of Southern Indiana (USI)
  • Murray State University (MSU)
  • University of Evansville (UoE)

Student teams will present their hardware projects and share insights from their work, making this a great opportunity to learn, connect, and engage with peers across institutions.

In addition, the section will support new IEEE student memberships by sponsoring registration for students who are interested in joining IEEE.
