Artificial Intelligence is transforming how software is built, but effective engineers are those who know when and how to use it without losing fundamentals. This session explores practical AI tools like Cursor, MCP servers in real engineering workflows such as debugging, system design, and testing.

We focus on maintaining engineering rigor—using AI as a productivity multiplier while preserving core skills like problem-solving and system thinking. The lecture also introduces AI agents, their real-world use cases, limitations, and how they differ from traditional systems.

Participants will leave with a clear framework for using AI effectively, avoiding common pitfalls, and understanding when and how to build AI-driven workflows and agent-based systems.
