Environment Monitoring and Amateur Radio
You are invited to participate in this event by the IEEE PT ComSoc Chapter and the IEEE PT VTS Chapter, and the Instituto de Telecomunicações, held at UBIMEDICAL (Estrada Municipal - this is 10 minutes walking from the Health Sciences Faculty of UBI, and five minutes walking from Intermarché), Covilhã, Universidade da Beira Interior, Covihã, Portugal.
This theme is an extension to the lecture "GPS games" because sensors of various kinds can be added to an object which location has been determined by a GPS receiver. Radio amateurs mostly use meteorological sensors (temperature, humidity, ...) but other measures can be taken too (e.g. telemetry of voltage).
