A Seminar on Career Opportunities in the Energy Sector and Climate-Resilient Energy Systems


The IEEE IUBAT Women in Engineering (WIE) Affinity Group, jointly organised with the IEEE WIE Bangladesh Section, is hosting a seminar titled “Enhancing Awareness of Career Opportunities of Women  in the Engineering Sector and Fostering Climate-Resilient Energy Systems for a Sustainable Future.”

This seminar aims to bring together students, professionals, and experts from the power and energy sector to share knowledge, insights, and real-world experiences. The event focuses on increasing awareness of career opportunities—especially for women in engineering—and promoting sustainable and climate-resilient energy solutions in Bangladesh.

Distinguished speakers from DESCO and the Asian Development Bank (ADB) will provide valuable perspectives on industry practices, gender inclusion, and future opportunities in the energy sector.
