Put simply, the advanced manufacturing process includes transistors and circuits are built onto the wafer using repeated layers of photolithography, etching, and deposition processes, often taking months to complete. Year over year, GF hires Process & Equipment Engineering Interns to support the advanced manufacturing process where interns have the ability to get hands-on experience through projects during their time with GF.
