IEEE Education Week
The IEEE Student Branch - Shinas, in collaboration with the Engineering Department at UTAS-Shinas , is organizing the IEEE Educational Week from April 12th to 16th, 2026. This comprehensive technical event features a diverse lineup of activities, including a professional engineering awareness session , TEDx talks covering Next-Gen AI tools and Fuel Cell technology , and an extensive Engineering Projects Exhibition. Throughout the week, students can participate in specialized engineering competitions (Electrical, Mechanical, and Civil) , a Mini-Hackathon , and a professional workshop on how to write and publish IEEE papers. The event, hosted across the MPH, main building, and theater , concludes with an official closing ceremony , and all participants will receive a Certificate of Attendance.
