Dear Members of the IEEE Lima Section,

You are warmly invited to attend and judge for the upcoming Maker Engineering Design Showcase at Ohio Northern University, featuring the Printed Circuit Board (PCB) projects of our sophomore Electrical and Computer Engineering students.

Event Details:
πŸ“… Date: Thursday, May 8
πŸ•› Time: 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM
πŸ“ Location: First Floor, James Lehr Kennedy Engineering Building

This showcase is the final event of a one-credit, project-based course in which students take on open-ended design challenges. Throughout the semester, students identify a real-world problem, engage stakeholders, conduct research, and develop a physical prototype that includes a custom-designed PCB and a 3D-printed enclosure.

As part of the event, students will present their final designs to peers, faculty, clients, and a panel of judges.

We are currently seeking volunteers to serve as judges for the showcase. Your participation would provide valuable feedback and encouragement to our students as they share their hard work and creative solutions.

If you're available and interested in serving as a judge, please reply to a-ammar@onu.edu by Monday, May 4 at 5:00 PM.

Thank you for considering this opportunity to support and engage with our future engineers. We hope to see you there!

Sincerely,
Heath LeBlanc
