Student Development Program (SDP)
The Student Development Program (SDP), organized as part of IEEE Education Week 2026, is a week-long initiative focused on enhancing technical skills, fostering innovation, and promoting collaborative learning. Hosted by the Faculty of Information Technology & Engineering, GNSU, this program brings together students, educators, and industry experts through a hybrid format-allowing participation both on-campus and online. Biography:
Prof. Akhilesh K. Sharma has throughout engineering background with B.E. (RGTU), M.E. (DAVV) and PhD (JK-SPS University), Udaipur. He has won the best research proposal award by ACM and CSI Udaipur chapter. His area of interests include Big data analytics, deep learning, classification and clustering methods, Data mining and machine learning, cognitive intelligence etc. He has many technical research papers in international and national journals conferences. Due to his meritorious contributions in the field of education, he has been awarded Best paper Award, NTU visiting research scientist Singapore etc. He has received Best teacher award for his contributions in academics. Currently he is working as Full Professor in Manipal University Jaipur. His interests in Deep learning, machine learning, Big data analytics has built a large fan following with many senior scientists visiting his laboratory. He is an asset to the institute and contributes in academic, research and development activities and leads his research community. He was the recipient of the Rajiv Gandhi sadbhavna award given by Mrs. Sonia Gandhi at 10 janpath. He visited IIT Indore to deliver guest lecture on Big data analytics and data mining issues. He has published many High quality research articles in various international journal and conferences. He was succeeded to fetched/received grant from DeItY (GOI) and successfully conducted industrial excursion and ESDM workshop for the university students. Biography:
Dr Rais Abdul Hamid Khan is working as a professor at the School of CSE, Sandip University, Nashik, Maharashtra, India - 422213. He completed his Ph.D. in CSE from NIMS University, Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. He completed his M.Tech. in CSE from RGTU, Bhopal. He completed his B.E. in CSE from NMU, Jalgaon. He has 25 years of teaching and research experience at various reputed Universities in India. His research interests include Computer Networks, Operating Systems, Artificial Intelligence, and Machine Learning, in which he has published over 11 Indian Patents and 48 research papers in reputed Scopus-indexed journals, international conferences, and book chapters. His paper "Denauley Triangulation Algorithm" was referred to by NASA, USA, and his papers were cited more than 3078.

Insights on Cybersecurity & Blockchain Technology
Biography:
He is a Professor at the School of Computer Science & Engineering at Sandip University, Nashik, India, and holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science. With over 20 years of academic and research experience, he has made significant contributions to the field through his extensive publication record, which includes more than 40 research articles in reputed international journals, conference proceedings, and book chapters. His work features publications in ESCI and Scopus-indexed high-impact journals.
In addition to his research contributions, he has authored two books and holds two patents—one granted in the UK and another in India. He has successfully supervised one Ph.D. scholar and is currently guiding four doctoral candidates. He is also actively associated with professional organizations, including holding a lifetime membership with ISTE.
