The Women in Engineering (WIE) Affinity Group presents “Tech Girl Starter Pack: Navigating Your First Steps in Tech”, a virtual webinar designed to empower and guide female students as they begin their journey in technology and engineering.
This session will provide practical insights on how to intentionally build a strong presence in the tech space, develop visibility, and position oneself for opportunities in a competitive industry.
The webinar will feature experienced speakers from different areas of tech who will share knowledge on LinkedIn optimization for career growth, the importance of building in public and showcasing projects, as well as real-life journeys into web development and tech careers. A special academic perspective will also be shared on how women can strategically position themselves for success in the tech ecosystem.
Participants will gain clarity on how to start, grow, and confidently navigate their path in tech, while also learning how to build a personal brand and leverage available opportunities effectively.
