Topic: Hydrogen Refilling and Gas Pre-Cooling Aspects

Mr. Akshay Muley provided an industry-oriented overview of hydrogen refilling systems, focusing on the key engineering aspects involved in the safe and efficient dispensing of hydrogen for mobility applications. He explained the role of gas pre-cooling, hydrogen dispensing, pressure management, safety, and system integration in hydrogen refuelling infrastructure. The session also connected these technologies with emerging hydrogen mobility and indigenous hydrogen-dispenser solutions in India, giving participants practical insight into the development of the hydrogen economy.

Biography:

Mr. Akshay Muley is a technologist and entrepreneur specializing in hydrogen technology and hydrogen gas-handling systems. He is the Director & Co-Founder of Hyperonic Engineering Pvt. Ltd., Pune, working on hydrogen dispensing, refuelling infrastructure and sustainable energy solutions. His professional interests also include powertrain engineering, advanced vehicle dynamics, CAD and data acquisition.

He has an engineering background in Mechanical Engineering and has pursued management education at IIM Calcutta, along with international academic exposure. His work spans hydrogen mobility, fuel-cell technologies and engineering innovation. He has also contributed as an industry mentor and jury member for Smart India Hackathon, particularly in hydrogen-storage innovation.

Green Hydrogen Applications

Mr. Nilesh Jadhav delivered an industry-focused session on the emerging applications of green hydrogen across clean energy, mobility, industrial processes and energy systems. He discussed how green hydrogen can support decarbonization, renewable-energy integration and the transition toward sustainable energy solutions, while highlighting practical industry perspectives and emerging opportunities for engineers and young professionals in the hydrogen economy.

Biography:

Mr. Nilesh Jadhav is a hydrogen and clean-energy professional currently serving as Head of Operations – India at Nedstack Fuel Cell Technology. His professional work focuses on hydrogen, PEM fuel-cell technology, clean-energy systems and the emerging hydrogen economy.

He has experience spanning hydrogen technologies, fuel-cell applications, engineering, project management and business development. He has also been actively involved in discussions and industry events related to India’s hydrogen transition, fuel-cell deployment and clean-energy applications. His professional background includes entrepreneurial and engineering experience, with an early career involving electric mobility and automotive technology.
