Professional Engineering Ethics and Conduct

This course presents the laws and rules of ethics and professional responsibility governing the practice of engineering in the state of Wisconsin. This PDH course applies to Professional Engineers licensed in the states of Wisconsin and Michigan who are required to demonstrate continuing professional competency in engineering ethics as a condition of their renewal. Learning Objectives: This presentation will count for Professional Development Hours (PDH) for the PE License in Wisconsin and Michigan. |

The dinner fee of $20, will be collected at registration. There is also a separate cash bar not covered by the local IEEE section.

Professional Engineering Ethics and Conduct
Biography:
Don Wengerter (PE WI, MI, IL) is a retired Principal Substation Engineer with 40 years of experience in the utility industry. His experience includes power plant operations and start-up, Commissioning tests for power plant equipment and transmission/distribution system equipment, and substation design. Some projects he has worked on include the start-up of Byron Nuclear Station, revenue metering additions for the sale of ComEd’s fossil stations, design of the Tollway 345-138 substation for ComEd, Grand Ridge Wind Park Collector Substation, Gardner Park Substation near Wausau, and various hydro plant upgrades. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Marquette University in 1982. He is also a member of several working groups for the IEEE Substations Committee.
