Workshop For StartUps
IEEE USA Students arranged Workshop for StartUps
We proudly organized an engaging and knowledge-packed startup-based workshop focused on transforming innovative ideas into successful ventures and learning how to secure grants for startup growth. The session was expertly led by Mr. Hamza, Program Manager at NICL National Incubation Center Lahore. During the workshop, students were introduced to the complete startup journey from idea validation and problem-solution fit to building a sustainable business model. The speaker shared practical insights on identifying market needs, developing impactful pitches, and navigating funding opportunities available for early-stage startups in Pakistan. A key highlight of the session was the detailed guidance on how to apply for grants, including proposal writing techniques, eligibility criteria, and common mistakes to avoid. Students also learned how incubators like NIC Lahore support startups through mentorship, networking, and funding access.
