Inaugural Face-to-Face Gathering of Tunisian IES Members & 2026 Executive Boards

his landmark event marked the first face-to-face gathering for Tunisian IEEE Industrial Electronics Society (IES) members and the 2026 Executive Boards of both the IEEE IES Student Branch Chapter (SBC) and the IEEE Student Branch (SB). Held at Le Royal Hammamet, the session served as a strategic platform to unify leadership and drive growth for the upcoming term.

The agenda focused on three critical pillars: empowering members by highlighting exclusive IES benefits, guiding non-IES Student Branches through the petition process to establish new chapters, and officially launching the "IES Hubs & Nodes" program. Additionally, attendees received an exclusive preview of the Africa Project Competition, inspiring a spirit of collaboration and technical innovation across the region. With 50 key stakeholders in attendance, this gathering laid the foundational groundwork for a successful and impactful 2026 term.
