A Grand Finale to IEEE Education Week 2026: Leadership, Mentorship, and the Future of Learning
The IEEE Education Week Talk Series 2026 concluded with its 8th and final technical session, held on 19 April 2026, bringing together inspiring discussions on leadership, mentorship, and the evolving landscape of engineering education. The session empowered both students and educators with valuable insights into professional growth, lifelong learning, and innovative teaching methodologies for the future.
 
We were honored to host two distinguished speakers whose experiences and expertise created an engaging and impactful learning experience for all participants.
Vickie Ozburn, MBA
MGA Vice Chair GUOS 2025–2026, IEEE TEMS | Marketing Chair & Member-at-Large 2026, IEEE WIE ILC
Through her inspiring talk on “My IEEE Journey and WIE,” Vickie Ozburn reflected on her 35+ years in the aerospace industry, emphasizing the transformative power of mentorship, resilience, and the importance of IEEE as a lifelong professional community.
Dr. Rajlaxmi Chouhan
Associate Professor, Department of Electrical Engineering & Head, Center for Education Technology, IIT Jodhpur, India
Dr. Chouhan delivered an insightful session on “Instructional Design for Engineering Education,” highlighting Bloom’s Taxonomy and the growing role of AI-driven tools in creating effective, industry-oriented learning experiences.
