IEEE S2S Presumit - From Signals to System
IEEE S2S – Signal to System Presummit is a full-day hands-on workshop focused on cutting-edge advancements in AI, signal processing, FPGA workflows, and robotics using MATLAB & Simulink.
The workshop delivered a comprehensive journey through the modern engineering stack, connecting theoretical foundations with practical implementation using MATLAB and Simulink.
Beginning with signal processing and communication systems, participants have understood how data is captured, analyzed, and transmitted efficiently. The session then advanced into artificial intelligence integration at the edge, enabling real-time intelligent decision-making. Participants will explore FPGA-based acceleration workflows and understand how hardware optimization enhances system performance.
The workshop concluded with robotics and control systems, where attendees will work with modeling, simulation, and path planning—bringing together sensing, intelligence, and actuation into a unified system-level perspective.
