We are teaching students how to make their own keyboard from the very basics.

Starting from the PCB and pulling component footprints, we design the keyboard from scratch.

Then we go through the manufacturing process in house using the Mercer XLab's PCB printers.

We solder the components by hand and program the microcontroller of the keyboard.

Finally, we design the case for the keyboard through CAD and 3D printing.
