IEEE PES DAY 2026 — Energy Innovation Week | Hackathón de Innovación
As part of the global celebrations for IEEE PES Day 2026, the PES Student Chapter successfully hosted the "Innovation Hackathon" during the Energy Innovation Week. The event took place on Friday, April 24th, from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Uninorte campus.
The primary objective of this challenge was to foster creativity, ingenuity, and teamwork among participants, encouraging them to develop high-impact innovative solutions for the current challenges in the power and energy sector. The jornada provided an ideal environment for students and young professionals to test their technical skills, engage in multidisciplinary collaboration, and network with peers and experts.
The competition concluded with an evaluation by a panel of judges, culminating in an award ceremony that recognized and rewarded the top three innovative projects.
