Dr. Ishansh Gupta will be talking about causal machine learning in automotive supply chain at BMW Group.
Biography:
The Department of Information and Decision Sciences (IDS) at University of Illinois Chicago will host Dr. Ishansh Gupta, a global expert in causal machine learning, as a guest speaker in IDS 460: Causal Inference, taught by Dr. Alvin Chin, on April 24.
Dr. Gupta leads AI strategy and digitalization at the BMW Group headquarters and teaches Causal AI initiatives at Constructor University. His work focuses on applying explainable and responsible AI to real-world decision-making, particularly in the automotive and supply chain sectors. He has published in leading journals, holds multiple patents in causal AI, and frequently speaks at international conferences.
