EmpowHer: Leading the Way toward Resilient and Inclusive Communities
It is a social impact initiative organized under IEEE WIE, aimed at supporting the education of young girls from rural communities. In collaboration with our institution (CITNC), five nearby villages have been identified, and one deserving student from each village specifically from single-mother households with a single girl child will be selected.
The program is committed to fully sponsoring the academic expenses of these five students, ensuring they have uninterrupted access to education and opportunities for growth. This initiative goes beyond financial support by fostering motivation, confidence, and long-term career aspirations among the beneficiaries.
Through this initiative, we aim to create a ripple effect empowering not just individuals, but entire families and communities.
