Workshop on Internet of Things using ESP32

The Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering organized a 3-day workshop on “Internet of Things using ESP32” in association with Hixaa Technologies, Nagpur, on 16th, 17th & 18th April 2026. The workshop was coordinated by Dr. Deepali Borakhade, Assistant Professor (E&TC) under IETE ISF Student Chapter and IEEE Student branch.

 

Objectives of the Workshop

• To equip students with practical skills in IoT development
• To provide exposure to ESP32 programming and communication protocols
• To introduce cloud integration and real-time data handling
• To enable hands-on experience in sensor interfacing and embedded systems

 

Overview of the Workshop

The workshop was organized to provide students with practical exposure to IoT technologies and to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world applications. The sessions followed a hands-on, learning-by-doing approach, where 19 students participated and actively worked with ESP32 development boards and implemented IoT-based solutions.

The workshop was conducted by industry experts from Hixaa Technologies, Nagpur, who provided valuable practical insights and hands-on training to the participants:
