AI-Driven Design Automation of RF Circuits and Systems

Fábio Passos received his Ph.D. in Electronics Engineering from the University of Seville, Spain in 2018. He has held research and industry positions at IMEC, Analog Devices, Renesas, and SiliconGate. He is currently an Assistant Professor at University of Lisbon, and a Senior Researcher at INESC-ID. He received a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellowship, multiple Best Paper Awards, and the EDAA Outstanding Dissertation Award (2019).

He is an IEEE MTT YP Outstanding Lecturer and member of the IEEE MTT Design Automation Technical Committee. He is the founder and chair of the Portuguese chapter of IEEE CEDA. His research focuses on AI-driven design automation of analog, RF, and mixed-signal circuits.
