Biography:

Prof. Anurag Srivastava is the Chair and Lane Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Electrical Engineering at West Virginia University. He is an IEEE Fellow and Distinguished Lecturer and also serves as a Senior Scientist at the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory. With over 18 years of experience, his research focuses on AI-enabled cyber-physical power systems, grid resilience, renewable energy integration, and physics-aware machine learning. He has led major research initiatives supported by the U.S. Department of Energy, the National Science Foundation (NSF), and industry partners, with solutions deployed in real-world utility control centers. Prof. Srivastava has authored more than 425 publications and delivered over 35 keynote speeches worldwide. He actively contributes to IEEE through multiple leadership roles in power system operations, microgrids, and resilience, advancing intelligent and sustainable energy systems.
