There is a fee of $20 per IEEE members, $25 for guests and $5 for students to cover the cost of the meal which you can select from the special luncheon menu.  Please bring cash or a check as we cannot process credit cards at this time.  Lunch items are offered via a menu of three options plus tea or water.  We appreciate your consideration and we look forward to seeing you there.

Biography:

Biography:  

Curtis received his BSEE Degree in Power Systems and Instrumentation, Oregan State University, 1978.


Curtis began his career as a construction engineer estimator in 1978. He spent 15 years learning the electric utility business from home services to high voltage transmission lines. Over the next 15 years, he helped develop Cathodic protection research utilizing cutting edge technology to protect steel from corrosion inside concrete bridges. He spent 12 years as a mentor training engineers and specialists in power quality and distribution planning for CPS Energy, the electric utility in San Antonio. He retired in 2020.
