With the CHIPS Act in action, the IEEE EDS Chapter/Nanotechnology Council of Northern Virginia & Washington, DC and the Northern Virginia and Baltimore WIE groups are pleased to sponsor a tour of the Micron Technology Fab in Manassas, Virginia. The tour will include a brief technical presentation from Micron (https://www.micron.com/), and a visit of l2-inch wafer facility clean room and fabrication equipment.

Important Notes:

  1. Attendance is limited to 25 so you must register by May 5 via the vtools to attend. Your registration name should be the same as the Photo ID that is required to be admitted.
  2. If registration is full before May 5, please contact the event coordinator to be added to a waitlist. Include name, address, and citizenship information.
  3. Due to limited space for this tour, please register with the commitment of attendance.
  4. Please park your vehicle in the designated Visitor Parking.
  5. You must arrive at the lobby by 2:45 PM, as the security personnel will not be available to admit you after this deadline. Please take rush hour traffic into consideration.
  6. Micron does not allow laptops or tablets in the building. Cell phones with camera capability brought into the building will have the camera covered by a sticker provided by Micron.
  7. Micron requires citizenship and address information for attendees. The event is not limited to US citizens - all are welcome!
