AI for Young Minds: STEM Session for School Students
A STEM training session on Artificial Intelligence was successfully conducted for school students at Viqar-un-Nisa Higher Secondary Institute, Rawalpindi on 15 April 2026. More than 30 students participated in the activity, which provided an engaging platform for young learners to explore emerging technologies, ask insightful questions, and demonstrate keen enthusiasm for understanding how AI is influencing the future. The activity effectively fostered early curiosity and awareness about science, technology, engineering, and mathematics among the participants. The event was conducted by the IEEE MTT-S/APS/EMCS/CAS Joint Chapter Islamabad in collaboration with the IEEE Islamabad Section.
IEEE and the IEEE Islamabad Section continue to actively support such outreach initiatives aimed at promoting STEM education at the school level. Sincere appreciation is extended to Sir Mansoor Malik, Dr. Muhammad Wajahat Hussain, and the school administration for their valuable coordination and support in ensuring the success of this session. Similar engagements are planned to further empower and inspire the next generation of innovators and problem solvers.
