New York Power & Energy Society / Industry Applications Society Chapter Presents:

Discussion on the growing threat of DDoS attacks against critical infrastructure -electrical grids and public transit systems - and how quantum computing offers a scalable and efficient defense through network graph partitioning.

  • Real-world DDoS incidents targetting electrical utilities and transit networks, and why they matter.
  • Why classical mitigation methods fall short under coordinated, high-volume attacks.
  • Key differences between quantum computing and classical approaches in terms of response speed and scalability.
  • Considerations for nerar-term deployment in infrastructure security operations centers.
