Empowering IEEE Leadership: IEEE France Section Participation in the Region 8 VLT 2026
The IEEE France Section will be be present in the IEEE Region 8 Volunteer Leadership Training (VLT) Workshop, scheduled to take place on 27–28 June 2026 in Istanbul, Türkiye.
The IEEE Region 8 VLT Workshop brings together current and emerging IEEE leaders from across Region 8 to foster collaboration, exchange best practices, and strengthen leadership capabilities within the global IEEE community.
The IEEE France Section, through its Chapters and Student Branches, actively contributes to this initiative as part of its strategic commitment to enhancing volunteer engagement, strengthening organizational effectiveness, and supporting the development of its student and chapter ecosystem within Region 8.
This Volunteer Leadership Training Workshop will be an excellent and boosting opportunity for our members:
• Acquire practical tools for effective chapter leadership and impactful event organization,
• Develop strategies for membership growth and retention using IEEE systems and analytical tools,
• Receive guidance on chapter development, funding processes, and collaboration with IEEE Sections,
• Enhance understanding of annual planning, reporting requirements, and alignment with IEEE strategic objectives,
• Strengthen networking, mentorship, and collaboration across IEEE Region 8.
This participation further reinforces the IEEE France Section’s commitment to leadership excellence within Region 8 and its dedication to empowering its students, chapters, and volunteers through continuous capacity building and engagement in IEEE activities.
