IEEE Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan Student Branch – Inauguration Ceremony

The Abdul Wali Khan University, Mardan is very proud to announce that the IEEE student Branch at AWKUM has been officially inaugurated. This is a historic event for the University as it is the first IEEE Student Branch to be formed in the University.

The event is designed to formally open the branch, and to present to students the opportunities for technology that IEEE offers to the world. Students will be able to access this platform to connect with international opportunities for networking, technical support, leadership development, research sharing and industry engagement.

The ceremony will be followed by the keynote address of eminent speakers from IEEE Pakistan and University leadership on Innovation, professional development and student engagement in engineering and technology sector.

Objectives

  •  Official inauguration of the IEEE Student Branch at AWKUM
  •  Introduction to IEEE and its benefits for students
  • Encouraging student participation in technical and leadership activities
  • Building connections with national and international IEEE communities
  • Promoting innovation, research, and professional development

 

It is the starting point of a new adventure for the students of AWKUM and will give them not only an international forum to broaden their technical expertise but also the chance to develop their leadership and career prospects.
