The 2026 award will be presented during the Opening Cerimony of IEEE MeditCom 2026, held in Cagliari, Italy. The award recipient is Dr. Marina Lotti, recognized for her PhD research on smart radio environments, localization, reconfigurable intelligent surfaces, THz/6G systems, and radio sensing.

The ceremony will include a brief introduction by the IEEE ComSoc Italy Chapter, the announcement and presentation of the award, and congratulations to the recipient.
