IEEE Uganda Section Student Branch Leadership Summit
The IEEE Uganda Section Student Branch Leadership Summit is a 4 hours program designed to empower and nurture current Student Branch Chairs. Through this activity training, workshop and the round table discussions, participants will gain operational knowledge, leadership skills and collaboration opportunities. The event fosters synergy among branches, prepares succession for future leaders, and motivates students to continue their IEEE journey by transitioning into Graduate Student Membership, ensuring sustained engagement beyond graduation.

IEEE Structure and Collaborative Initiatives
This session will provide an overview of the organizational structure of IEEE from the global level to regions, sections, and student branches, highlighting how each level functions and supports members. It will also explore collaborative initiatives within IEEE, including partnerships across local student branches, within the Uganda Section, and across Region 8. Emphasis will be placed on how student leaders can initiate and sustain collaboration within their own branches and with others through joint events, knowledge sharing, and leadership development. Participants will gain practical insights on navigating the IEEE structure and leveraging collaboration to strengthen their branches and maximize impact while encouraging them to remain part of IEEE as Graduate student members upon their first degree achievement as they transition into professional membership

IEEE Student Branch Management
This session will focus on the effective management and sustainability of IEEE Student Branches. It will cover key aspects such as leadership roles and responsibilities, planning and executing impactful activities, member recruitment and retention and financial and administrative management. The session will also highlight best practices for ensuring continuity through proper reporting and leadership transitions. Participants will gain practical strategies to run active, well-organized branches that deliver value to their members and align with IEEE goals.
