The IEEE Signal Processing Society (SPS) Student Chapter and IEEE Student Branch, VNRVJIET, successfully celebrated IEEE SPS Day 2026 in conjunction with the inauguration of the IEEE International Conference on Robotics and Automation (ICRA) 2026 Satellite Conference Centre at VNRVJIET.

The event commenced with the formal inauguration of the ICRA 2026 Satellite Centre, providing students, researchers, and faculty members an opportunity to participate in one of the world's most prestigious conferences in Robotics and Automation. The gathering was addressed by distinguished IEEE and industry leaders:

• Mr. Bala Prasad Peddigari, Vice Chair, IEEE Hyderabad Section and Chief Innovation Officer, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS)
• Mr. Sreenivas Jasti, Treasurer, IEEE Hyderabad Section and Delivery Head & Head, Program Management Office, India Communications Media & Information Services, TCS

The speakers highlighted the importance of innovation, interdisciplinary research, emerging technologies, and active participation in IEEE activities for professional growth. Participants gained valuable insights into advancements in robotics, automation, artificial intelligence, and signal processing technologies.
