June 18, 2026 York County Astronomical Society RADIO Telescope Tour and Luncheon
You are invited to attend a free luncheon and a live tour of the York County Astronomical Society's RADIO Telescope starting at noon June 18, 2026. The telescope was designed and built by the students/faculty of York College Engineering school over many years. It has only been recently installed and is operational. This is only the second operating radio telescope in Pennsylvania. The history of bringing this telescope online and how operated will be presented by the YCAS staff and faculty members of York College school of Engineering. This promises to be a very exciting meeting and luncheon. Lunch will start at noon June 18 at the YCAS Observatory in York County Rudy Park.
Because of limited space inside the observatory, please make your registration as soon as possible. If you are not able to register, this means that the registration is now full.
