IEEE WIE Day 2026: RoboInnovate – Empowering Young Innovators Through IoT Education

 


RoboInnovate is an IEEE Women in Engineering (WIE) Day initiative organized in partnership with IEEE SIGHT Multimedia University of Kenya. The program aims to introduce learners at Kibera Primary School to the exciting world of the Internet of Things (IoT) through interactive demonstrations and hands-on learning activities. The training sessions will be facilitated by experts from Digikatech Africa and Mwamba STEM Labs, providing students with exposure to emerging technologies, innovation, and STEM career pathways. Through this outreach program, IEEE WIE seeks to inspire the next generation of engineers and technology leaders while promoting inclusive access to STEM education.
