Biography:
Arun Arokianathan is a Toronto-based AI educator, communications professional, journalist, and interpreter with more than 25 years of experience in communications, public education, community engagement, and international professional collaboration. He holds a Bachelor of Social Sciences and is a Seneca Polytechnic alumnus with professional credentials in Artificial Intelligence, Prompt Engineering, Digital Transformation, and AI Productivity Tools. As an educator and trainer, Arun has delivered numerous workshops in community education, digital literacy, and professional development, helping individuals and organizations leverage AI for productivity, creativity, academic success, and responsible technology use.
He has participated in prestigious international professional development programs, including the U.S. Department of State's International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP), the Asia Journalism Fellowship (Singapore), and the Chevening South Asia Journalism Programme (UK). His expertise includes generative AI applications, prompt engineering, AI-assisted content creation, research automation, workflow optimization, and digital literacy training. Combining the perspectives of an international journalist, educator, and technology trainer, he is committed to empowering diverse audiences to confidently integrate AI tools into their personal, academic, and professional lives, enabling them to thrive in an increasingly AI-driven world.
