Technology Innovations in Engineering
The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE), in association with the IEEE CEDA Student Chapter and IEEE SIET Student Branch, organized an expert talk on “Technology Innovations in Engineering” on 06 June 2026 at the CSE Seminar Hall, SIET Vijayapura, in observance of World Environment Day.
The session was delivered by Mr. Anantnag B. Kavadikeri, CEO, Pragyan EduSec, Hubballi, who shared valuable insights into emerging technologies, innovation trends, and their impact on modern engineering practices. The talk emphasized the role of technological advancements in addressing real-world challenges and promoting sustainable development.
Students and faculty members actively participated in the session, gaining knowledge about recent developments in areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Automation, Smart Systems, Cybersecurity, and Industry 4.0. The speaker encouraged participants to develop innovative thinking, enhance technical skills, and explore research opportunities in emerging domains.
